Quinoa Color : Quinoa is available in different colors. Although they are the same grain, there are slight nutritional differences between red, black and white quinoa. Red and black quinoa have stronger nutty & earthy aroma and crunchier than white quinoa, they can be steamed or cooked in a rice cooker but it takes longer time to cook red quinoa and especially black quinoa.
How to Cook Quinoa:
Thoroughly rinse quinoa before cooking. Rice Cooker: Add 1 cup of quinoa to 2 cups of water & cook for 15-20 minute or until water is absorbed.
