Here's how to keep your Numa portable nebulizer clean and functioning optimally:
After Each Use:
1. Deep Clean the Medicine Cup:
- Fill the medicine cup with clean tap water. (It won't work with distilled water)
- Hold and press the power button to activate the cleaning mode. This will trigger a burst of mist. Light will blink orange and blue.
- Let the cleaning mode run for 1-2 minutes, then turn off the unit.
- Discard the excess water from the cup.
2. Detach the Medicine Cup:
- Press the button located at the back of the unit.
- While holding the button pressed, pull the medicine cup forward to detach it.
3. Wipe Everything Down:
- Use a clean cloth to wipe the inside and outside of the medicine cup.
- Gently wipe the body and connectors of the unit as well.
4. Air Dry Completely:
- Leave the medicine cup open to ensure all parts dry completely before storing the nebulizer.
