The Aller Plasma Nano+ Sterilizer artificially produces “cold plasma” – an unstable mixture of negative and positive ions – using the Nano Ceramic Dielectric Barrier Discharge (DBD), to neutralize and eliminate harmful toxins in the air by breaking down their molecular structure.
What is Plasma?
Plasma, the 4th state of matter, is a mixture of ions and free moving electrons. Energy is needed to strip electrons from atoms to be able to produce plasma. This “energy” may come from: thermal, electrical, or light. With insufficient energy, plasma recombine into neutral gas.
On Earth, plasma cannot naturally exist. Through science, cold plasma can be artificially-produced through various method. This is where we come in.
When air passes through the low-temperature or “cold air” discharge region of the device, what comes out is plasma - an unstable mixture of positive and negative ions. This “ionized air” reacts with harmful elements in the air to break down chemical bonds of pollutants and cell membranes of bacteria and viruses.
How does Cold Plasma work?
This plasma ions wrap around cell membranes of harmful pathogens, bacteria, viruses and other odor molecules and oxidize it. As a result they are converted into H20 and CO2 vapors in the air.
Nano+ Technology Tested
The Aller Plasma Nano+ Sterilizer has been certified effective by the Guangdong Detection Center of Microbiology in a crucial series of tests conducted against the H1N1 or Influenza A virus, pollutants such as Benzene and Formaldehyde, Staphylococcus albus bacteria and VOCs (volatile organic compounds) such as acetaldehyde, ammonia and acetic acid found in cigarette smoke.

How does Aller work?
Aller Plasma Nano+ uses the nano ceramic dielectric barrier discharge
(DBD) method to artificially-produce plasma. When this plasma is diffused in the air, it contains a mixture of positive and negative ions that are very unstable. To become stable, plasma ions cause a chemical reaction that break the bonds of bacteria, virus cells, and harmful substances like VOCs, breaking down their molecular structure.
Can I use the Nano+ without plugging into a socket?
Yes. However, we recommend to plug in device when in-use to prevent the built-in battery to be frequently drained. The built-in battery can be used for up to two to three hours when fully-charged.
Is it rechargeable?
Yes. Charging time is approximately 2 hours.
What is the recommended space it can sterilize?
Recommended space if from 3 m3 up to 30 m3. That is a size of an average small room or about 10sqm.
Can I use it in the car?
Definitely. Plug in the USB car port, long press the button to turn ON and choose the green light (Eco Mode) function.
Is it safe to turn on when there are people in the room? in the car?
Yes. It is definitely safe! Aller Plasma Nano+ emit plasma ions that replicate that of nature. Ion densities in nature (e.g. forest) is significantly higher as compared to urban indoor areas. More plasma ions, means better air indoor air quality!
What is the difference between Plasma and UV light?
Both are effective sterilization processes but using different methods. Plasma is ionized gas. Since gas is in air form, it can penetrate hard-to-reach areas. Plasma can be used to sterilize different type of material without causing items to corrode. There is no heat, no water, so even sensitive items are safe to sterilize.
It is also safe to use even when there are people inside a room. It acts as a sterilizer and an air disinfectant at the same time without the harmful chemicals. UVC Sterilization uses “light” as an effective method to sterilize. Since light cannot “bend”, you see most UVC sterilizers have a “mirrorized” interior lining to allow the light to “bounce” back to reflect on all angles.
For UV light to be effective, light should shine and pass through ALL SIDES of the item being sterilized. When used as a room sterilizer, nobody should be inside the room as direct exposure may be harmful to your skin and eyes. Two different methods, but the same goal, to sterilize.
Is Nano+ like an air purifier?
Nano+ is a plasma generator device that can disinfect air and surrounding surfaces. It diffuses plasma ions in the surrounding environment and actively kills harmful pathogens, bacteria, viruses, as well as removes odors and VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) such as Tobacco, Smoke, Formaldehyde, Benzene, etc. Most traditional air purifiers use the filtration method. This means, air is vacuumed inside these filters and release back as filtered air. These filters need to be replaced every six to eight months for it not to breed bacteria and efficiently filtrate the air.
Nano+ can work together with your existing air purifiers and may prolong the lifespan of your filters.
What materials or items can Nano+ sterilize?
Nano+ can sterilize any type of material without causing damage to the item. You may sterilize: plastic, silicone, rubber, leather, paper, textile, glass, even fresh produce like fruits and vegetables.
Does it emit ozone?
Aller Plasma Nano+ O3 emission is lower than < 0.05ppm which is the international standard safe level ozone emission for humans. The discharge region (DBD) of the Nano+ is coated with Nano Titanium Dioxide to inhibit the production of O3.
What does 5-year service life mean?
The Nano+ has a five (5) year service life for its DBD region. In theory, the nano ceramic DBD region can last up to 100,000 hours. That is equal to 11 years! However, we took into account other internal parts of the Nano+ such as the internal fan, built-in battery, as well as proper maintenance. The better you maintain your Nano+, the longer it can be your safety ally.
Do I need to change filters? Light bulbs? Any other consumables?
No. Nano+ does not need any filter nor bulb replacements. It’s maintenance-
free! Just plug and play!
What is the maximum space it can sterilize?
Recommended space is from 3 cubic meters up to 30 cubic meters (m3).
1 cubic meter = 1000 Liters
30 m3 = 30,000 Liters capacity
(as compared to the old Aller 70-L box)
Can I use the Nano+ to sterilize my grocery items?
Definitely. We suggest you bring your portable Nano+ with you and start sterilizing your items at the back of your car while on your way home. Saves you time!
Can Aller Plasma Nano+ kill harmful bacteria and viruses?
Yes. We have tested it with H1N1 Influenza A type of virus.
Can it remove odors and VOCs?
Yes. We have tested is with Formaldehyde, Benzene, Cigarette smoke, Ammonia, Acetaldehyde, Acetic Acid, all results were very promising.
Can it be used to sterilize fruits and fresh produce?
Yes. It may prolong the shelf life of your fresh produce.
How do I use the device properly?
Please do an initial charging of the unit for at least five (5) hours without
turning the device on.
Please do not drop the device on water.
Please do not leave the device under directsunlight or extreme heat to avoid
causing damage to its battery.
Please avoid draining the battery to empty. This may shorten the life of the
built-in Li-ion Polymer battery.

When do I use Green Light or Red Light setting?
GREEN light is for Eco-mode.
CAR- Eco-mode is ideal to be used inside small enclosed spaces such as inside a
RED light is for Enhanced Mode.
STORAGE BOX - Use red light to sterilize items inside any type of storage box.
For a 70-L size box, we advise to turn on the Nano+ for at least 15 to 30 minutes.
Please make sure that there is little space for plasma air to circulate inside the box.
SMALL ROOMS - Use red light to sterilize a small room of up to 30 cubic meters (10
sqm). When using the Nano+ inside your room, there is no need to leave the room.
It is very safe to use even when there are people, pets, and even plants inside!
